Letter to Parents
For those athletes that missed training on Wednesday 16th December, a letter was
issued advising parents when we plan to return for training after Christmas. We
have also made reference to an End of Year report prepared for every athlete. This
report documents the performances for each child across competition and includes results of performance tests carried out
during 2008 and 2009. Also included in the report is the attendance record for
each child since training commenced in September.
If you have not received a copy of the End of Year Report for your child, please text or phone 086 6007847 with
your email/postal address and it will be sent to you.

Volunteers Required for Weds 30th Dec
On
Wednesday 30th December, club volunteers and some of our older athletes will be distributing flyers from door to
door, advertising our club gymnasium. The club gym is an essential means of raising
funds for the club towards repayment of current debts and for the ongoing development of our facilities. We would appreciate all help for even short periods of time on that day.

Wednesday Night Training in Community Centre from 11th
Nov
Club training on Wednesday evenings will
now take place in the Community Centre, Lifford. There will be two sessions, the first from 6pm-7pm for all athletes
aged seven to ten, and for all athletes aged eleven and upwards, training will be from 7pm-8pm. Where parents have to
travel a distance with athletes in both age categories, we only expect them to attend one session with younger athletes accommodated
in the later session or vice versa. Please contact Brendan on 086 6007847 for further information.
Note: Monday night training will still take place at the athletic track.

The Tir Chonaill clun in Donegal Town is holding an athletics jamboree for 7-11 year olds on Thursday morning 9th April

An Assistant Coach course will be held in Stranorlar on the 4th & 11th March 09. The course is the next step up on
