The annual Lifford 5K Road Race takes place this Friday evening 19th June starting at 7.30pm.
In recent years, the race has seen increasing numbers of participants and it is now a popular fixture in the annual Donegal
Road Race series. The impressive course record of 14.59 was set in 2006 by former club athlete and current Letterkenny
AC runner Pauric McKinney.
Athletes can check in from 6.30pm at the athletic track
(Map). The race itself starts on the main Letterkenny road above Daly's Service Station and after 3 circuits of the town,
will finish at the Courthouse in the Diamond.
Traffic restrictions will be in place from 7.30pm.
